Aldo Bensadoun, the son of a shoe salesman and grandson of a cobbler, was destined to become an entrepreneur. This citizen of the world hails from Morocco, grew up in France and studied in Québec. He broke with convention by launching his own brand of footwear in Montréal. The ALDO Group today has over 3,000 points of sale in over 100 countries. Sensitive to product design, creative, and attentive to his employees, the entrepreneur built an empire on strong values such as love, respect and integrity. He now wishes to give back to the next generation, and help it reach its full potential. The Bensadoun School of Retail Management opens its doors at McGill University in fall 2018.
